With the 2020 pandemic and racial injustices rocking the world, there has been a lot of heartache and sadness affecting those around me. As a Latina business owner, I knew I wanted to give back during this time of need. That fueled the mission for Petals Of Hope. With so much extra stock, I began delivering rose arrangements to medical workers, nursing homes, and others on the front lines.
As the campaign picked up speed and we got so many requests, we put up a GoFundMe campaign to cover the costs of shipping. With a $300 goal, after an amazing show of support from our community, we tripled our goal, raising over $900. We were able to donate so many beautiful blooms to souls who needed them around the United States. Want to be a part of the next Petals of Hope campaign? Edit: The Rose Maven sent out over 20 floral bouquets in the month of April! It was such an amazing turnout and it brightened up many tough days. Below is a photo of one of the many arrangements I sent with a sweet note from the person that contacted me.
